2010 Fall Friday School important dates!

Sept. 2nd - Membership and Class Registration

(Location - Moses Lake Alliance Church)

6:00 P.M. Teacher registration

6:30 P.M. Returning member registration

7:00 P.M. New member registration

September 9th - mandatory "Parent Appreciation and Orientation Night"

Location: Living Word Lutheran Church

located inside Moses Lake Christian Academy, Bldg. B

From 7pm-8pm

Dessert will be served

(Nursing little ones are welcome to attend. There will be not facilities to care for children so we ask that you try to make other arrangements for them. If you need to bring your children, please bring something quiet for them to work on. Thanks for you understanding.)

Sept. 24th - Nov. 12th - Fall Friday School

We are a cooperative of homeschooling families who join together and offer classes that enrich our children's education.  First Class of Grant County helps families connect with one another and create local communities of homeschoolers.

At First Class Co-op every family participates to provide classes for their children.  Jobs vary from teaching, to coordinating to clean-up, etc.  When each person contributes, class day is a success.

New families are welcome.  To participate in "Friday School", you must first become a member of FCHM.  You can do this online at http://www.fchm.org/. The annual membership for FCHM is $25 per family.  To cover operating expenses, our local First Class Grant County Co-op has annual dues of $20 per family and class tuition.  You can pay your local dues and class tuition at registration.  Class tuition can be found in the class catalog.  Scholarship applications are available upon request.

In the event of winter weather, we will follow the public school closures.  You can call the MLSD transportation number to check for school closures at 766-2676.
